A Jaaaaag- and a 911 Turbo and M6.
Not pictured- what I believe is a Ferrari 400i. It’s at the back of a tandem garage and rarely is out in the sun.

Nice. There is a nearly identical yellow Jaaaaaaaag I’ve occasionally seen around. Here’s it at a car show.

Oh I got one of those today too, not a Series 1, they have the ugly lights etc.. Now that they are exempt someone should make a kit to fit better looking covered lights on them like the MK1s. I have the Japanese light covers on my Z and it’s so much better, they look like they are missing something to me without them.

Jaaaag appears to be a Series II 1968+
I bet the north shore has some interesting old cars laying around.

Don’t know if this helps - I can’t ID those cars.
This isn’t the North Shore, but we’re right next to the next best thing - Hinsdale.

They’re gorgeous, and I like that color on them.

I’m not really up to speed on the variants of the E-type. I just find them striking.

Sidemarker is 68+, wheels means likely II rather than III. Color also is maybe more likely a II.
I get the picture Euro cars have a good history in Chicagoland. I imagine the northshore to be like a John Hughes movie, old Jags and Ferraris slumbering around every corner.

Oh yes absolutely. I've never seen a couple but I hear some people take issue with the proportions on them.

There are a lot of interesting cars around me. Those cars all live within 2 blocks of me. There’s also a 1st gen Corvair convertible (same color as the Jag), and a late 40s Cadillac coupe, within that 2 block radius too. Hinsdale has a lot more than my town, too.

Must always be a labor of love there with the roads and rust.
I always read Hinsdale as “Hilldale” from BTTF:
